If you’re new here, I’m so glad you found your way to this space. If you already know me, this next step in my journey probably won’t come as a surprise. You’ve likely heard me talk about design or asked me for advice—whether it was selecting the right colors, arranging furniture, optimizing a space for better flow, or organizing a home to function beautifully.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to creating spaces that feel just right. But professionally, my focus has been on something else: designing digital experiences that make life easier. Whether hands-on in the work or leading teams, my career has always been about shaping design in a way that serves people.
Why Now?
This idea—Stanton Style Studio—has been in the back of my mind for years. In fact, as I built this website, I realized I had started working on something similar three years ago, right around the time I stepped into a leadership role at Zoro.com. But life got busy. My focus was on advocating for design, making sure my team had a seat at the table, navigating corporate complexities, and proving myself at every turn—all in pursuit of growth, success, and that ever-elusive balance.
Then, in November of last year, like so many in the UX and design industry, I was laid off. After years in corporate America, I thought I had developed a sixth sense for these moments—keeping my resume updated, staying connected with recruiters, always having a backup plan. But this one caught me off guard. It was tough to leave a team I had poured so much into and a role that, while not always easy, pushed me to grow as a leader.
After the initial shock and a few well-earned tears, I did what I knew how to do: I reached out to my network, refreshed my resume, and started exploring opportunities. But something shifted. Late one night, I had a realization—the very skills I had honed in my digital experience career were just as relevant to the way we shape and experience our homes.
A Thoughtfully Designed Life
Stepping away from the day-to-day demands of corporate life gave me the space to see that my two design worlds were closely intertwined. Every stage of life—whether it’s moving into a first home, growing a family, seeking better organization, or downsizing—comes with different needs. And just like in digital design, the best solutions are the ones that truly work for the people using them.
That’s where Stanton Style Studio comes in. My goal is simple: to help people create homes that function beautifully and feel like they truly belong to them—no matter where they are in life.
I can’t wait to share more with you.
